I'm preaching on 1 Corinthians 13 on Sunday. It's all about love. We use the passage at a lot of weddings (we had it read at ours) but I think it has a bigger picture of love than just wedding days and bouquets. So, what do you think love looks like....?

What about a 'show & tell' at church? Bring something that represents love for the 'bringer'. Bringers and Bringees ministering to each other! Probably a bit too predictable tho??

It looks like a solo mum getting basically no sleep/rest/relaxation just to look after and provide for her kid, It looks like giving up your free time (in an already busy week) to hang out with someone who needs some encouragement,but might never appreciate the sacrifice made, It looks like someone bitting their tongue instead of lashing out with a comment that will put them ahead in the argument, It looks like doing the dishes when you'd much rather blob infront of tv(sorry mum and dad!!), It looks like a God who gave up his only son to die for a world of people that hated him,despite the fact he did nothing but love them.
Thats what real love looks like.
